The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has mandated the implementation of five specific FHIR APIs to enhance interoperability and improve healthcare data exchange. These APIs are designed to allow seamless data sharing between payers, providers and patients.

More about FHIR Release 4

Our APIs are built on HL7 FHIR® Release 4 (R4), the latest standard for exchanging healthcare information electronically. FHIR R4 provides a modern, RESTful approach to healthcare data exchange with improved consistency, enhanced data models and production-ready specifications. Health plan records Our implementation supports key FHIR R4 resources including Patient, Coverage, ExplanationOfBenefit, Claim and more. For a complete list of supported resources and implementation details, please refer to our API documentation. Health care records We follow Epic on FHIR protocols to enable developer access to our health care data. Not all health care data may be available. Go to Epic on FHIR.
